Been over a month since I’ve posted it seems.

Whoopsy …

Anyhow, life’s been okay. Besides some minor hosting problems all has gone well. I’ve upgraded my CPU this month. The result was shocking. The new Athlon X2 4600+ renders in max about twice as fast as my old Athlon 64 3000+. I had expected a 1/3rd increase at best, I’m glad I was wrong.

I think I’ll treat myself next month with a new case, the current one is just too bloody noisy (and cheap). I could do with a more reliable power supply too, right now I’m thinking about getting the antec sonata II. The pannel should cover my beige DVD-rom drive just nicelly. The included fanduct looks interresting too, I’m just a bit worried that it won’t fit nicelly above my cpu.

My car also got fixed. Gone is the tormenting squeeking sound that came from my engine. Now she just purrs like a little kitten (and roars like a lion when I push it to the metal ). I no longer have to put my car stereo to the max to fade out the engine

I’ve been experimenting with Windows Media Center Edition 2005 at work. I must say that it rocks. It blows front row out of the water (isn’t a real media center anyhow) I wonder if apple will ever bother to create a counterpart, if not they are making a big mistake.

Art classes have been going well, I’m not the next da vinci but I enjoy myself and that’s what counts.

Something interresting happened last week. The model (good looking btw ) asked for my msn messenger account. Apparantly a friend of hers knows someone who looks almost exactly like me. After a few days she popped up on my messenger and I asked her about the guy.

Turns out he is a Wallonian International Rugby player. People it looks like we might have found my evil twin, he’s exactly the opposite of me. He’s good at sports!

The thought did cross my mind that I might be the evil twin. Now that would be interresting!

I’ve also been working on a 3D model and frankly, I think I outdid myself. I’ll upload some pictures when I am on my 3ds max rig (the one with the new cpu).

On a side note, my old cpu is available for € 40, it comes with the boxed cooler included! (It’s a socket 939 model btw, so keep this in mind!)
